A bit about the thomas family...
Thought I would share some of our history with you so you know a bit more about how we got here: House Thomas is a Craftsman Class family named after Sir Tom Ape of Tunnels, Forefather of the Ape Society, Knight of the Roundtable, and confidante of Giambuono de’ Medici. The Thomas family was founded by Tom’s immediate family members, who branched off from the Medici family along with the masons of the Vaitsmooth District to continue his legacy. The current head of the family is Wilfred Thomas, son of Tom Ape.
House Thomas’ ancestral home of Thomas Manor is a gift by the Medici family, which is used to house the elected King Wilfred Thomas. The luxury cabin is said to be connected to the underground network of the famous Thomas Tunnel System that runs beneath the city.

As one of the original refugees of the Shelley Mines Incident, Tom Ape, was a confidant and friend to Giambuono during the capital city’s foundation. Tom was a crafty and observant ape who blazed trails and grew wild gardens all over the jungle and river beds to allow comfortable travel for his fellow apes, enabling them to travel longer distances and establish outposts. Tom was instrumental in all the early conflicts and learned techniques from every ape he interacted with to enhance his skill sets. By the time construction of the capital city began, he was truly a jack of all trades. Tom was tasked with constructing a tunnel system to guide the river into the ambitious aqueduct system planned for the city. He served many years as a knight of the roundtable, going on many expeditions. Almost every Ape Society stronghold founded in the Kingdom has Tom Ape’s fingerprints on its foundations…
